Bachtel
Description
From Wetzikon, follow the railroad line in the direction of Bubikon, but then keep left and reach Hinwil. The route now climbs up to the Hadlikon ruins and finally to the Hasenstrick airfield. Now take the steep road that rides to the top of the Bachtel. It is no coincidence that the summit is a well-known excursion destination: from up here, there is a fantastic view across to the Alps and down to the entire Zurich region.
A crisp singletrail descent to Wernetshausen follows. This rides along the Bachtel Trail, which has been specially created for mountain bikers. A steep but well-designed single trail, which can be a challenge in wet conditions. Later, you then head down through the Wildbachtobel ravine to Hinwil. This section is subject to a general driving ban and there are a few chicanes built in to prevent mountain bikers from entering. The path along the stream is beautiful but narrow and you need to be considerate of pedestrians. After the Wildbachtobel ravine, you climb up to Bäretswil on small roads to join the descent through the Kemptnertobel ravine. Although there is no general driving ban here, consideration for pedestrians is just as important as before at Wildbachtobel due to the many narrow passages. The path along the stream ends on the outskirts of Wetzikon, where you cycle back to the station on local roads.

Is there an alternative to the locked part? If anyone knows a good one, we would be happy :-)
Merci
The lower part through the Wildbachtobel (from Girenbad) to Hinwil was unfortunately subject to a general driving ban!
Hello Samuel :)
Is there an alternative way?
