On the way over the Passo dell'Ables, you can see the spectacular roads that were built in the Alps during the Second World War. Today, all that remains of the route is a trail, and alpine surefootedness is required on the ascent.

The Passo di Verva near Bormio is a well-known Transalp crossing, but is also suitable as a first-class day tour.

The Passo del Alpe rides from Santa Caterina into Valtellina and can be perfectly combined by mountain bike with the descent from the Bormio3000 mountain station.

The Monti delle Scale was a small but important fortress high above Bormio during the First World War. Anyone standing at the top will recognize its military significance: the panorama extends over towards Stelvio and down to the entire valley floor of Bormio. Today, the summit is a destination for mountain bikers with a head for heights and technical skills.

The cable car takes you to the Cima Bianca above Bormio, which is over 3000 meters high. An excellent single trail descent through the Valle di Sobretta begins here.

The Monte-Braulio tour is a variant of the well-known Bocchetta di Forcola route with start and finish in Bormio.

The beautiful tour from Bormio rides up to the lakes in the Valle di Fraéle and along wonderful trails into the Valle del Braulio.

The Passo Zebrù is a classic among mountain bike tours and leads to the pass of the same name near Bormio, which is over 3000 meters high.
