The Liechtensteiner Höhenweg in the face of the Schesaplana offers an impressive single trail tour for the more demanding. If you like alpine, technical trails against a stunning backdrop, this is the place for you.

The Danusa region in the lower Prättigau is a rather pristine and remote part of Graubünden. And a bike route rides through the middle of it, far away from the MTB mainstream.

The Sargans region offers a few first-class singletrail tours in spring, when there is still snow at higher altitudes. One of these routes leads over the Regitzer Spitz and the Pizalun. The view from these two peaks is at least as good as from some of the higher Alpine summits.

The Chimmispitz lies inconspicuously far above the Rhine Valley near Landquart. But hardly any other summit offers such a fantastic view and such an attractive singletrail descent. The unexpected often happens.

The Kunkelspass is a cycling classic. If you add a few single trails to the descent to Tamins, it is also attractive for bikers.

The inconspicuous Pizalun at the entrance to the Tamina Valley is one of the most rewarding mountain bike destinations in Sarganserland. The ascent is via a mountain road, the descent exclusively via single trails, and the summit offers a panoramic view of the St. Gallen Rhine Valley.

The "Prättigauer Höhenweg" is one of the best single trails in Central Grisons, but is only recommended for experienced mountain bikers. It rides from St. Antönien to the Carschina hut and continues along the Rätikon to Malans.

The Fadärastein lies high above the Chlus from Landquart to Prättigau. The spectacular crossing is popular with mountain bikers, especially as the first-class trail descent to Malans is considered a classic.
