The Lauberhorn race in Wengen is one of the most famous ski races in the world. Beneath the blanket of snow lies an excellent single trail descent with the phenomenal backdrop of the Eiger, Mönch and Jungfrau.

The Schynige Platte is one of the greatest routes in the Bernese Oberland - but it is off-limits to mountain bikers. If you still don't want to miss out on the experience, tackle the tour in the fall, when the Firstbahnen are already closed but no snow has yet fallen.

The Eiger Trail is one of the most famous and impressive hiking trails in Switzerland. Mountain bikers are not welcome here. At off-peak times, out of season and with prudent behavior, the trail is also a trail of superlatives for bikers.

The Bachalpsee above the Grosse Scheidegg is one of Grindelwald's most famous photo subjects and offers an excellent singletrail descent that is largely signposted as a mountain bike route. The tour is a must for mountain bikers in the Bernese Oberland

The Kleine Scheidegg above Grindelwald is world-famous. For mountain bikers, it is an excellent transition point from Grindewald to the Lauterbrunnen Valley and offers a spectacular panorama of the Eiger, Mönch and Jungfrau as well as excellent singletrail fun.
