Sargans | Ride MTB

The Sargans region offers a few first-class singletrail tours in spring, when there is still snow at higher altitudes. One of these routes leads over the Regitzer Spitz and the Pizalun. The view from these two peaks is at least as good as from some of the higher Alpine summits.

The Wildenberg is located between Sargans and Flums and is a first-class mountain bike destination. The ascent takes you past Lake Chapfensee, while the descent is characterized by attractive single trails.

The Gonzen rises steeply and seemingly impregnably above Sargans. However, the dominant mountain is easily accessible from the rear and is also ideal as a mountain bike destination. The view of the Rhine Valley and the Seez Valley is fantastic. The singletrail descent leads back to Sargans via the Walserberg.

The Spina Trail is one of the most fun trails in Sarganserland, but requires good riding technique. If you combine the descent with the summit experience on the Gonzen, the route becomes a complete mountain biking experience.

The technically easy but scenically fascinating tour from Sargans rides to the foot of the Hüenerchopf and back through the Weisstannental valley.
