The Valle di Mergo tour starts in the same way as the Cardada classic and offers everything that a technically experienced mountain biker could wish for: a hike-a-bike from Cimetta including a summit experience on the Cima della Trosa followed by a flowing but technically challenging descent through the little-known but beautiful Valle di Mergo.

The Cimetta is Locarno's local mountain and, with the Alpe Cardada, is one of Ticino's mountain bike classics. The route is considered one of the smoothest in the otherwise rugged Sopra Ceneri region.
