High above the idyllic Lötschental valley is an exceptionally beautiful and smooth high-level trail. It is also popular with hikers, and above-average consideration is mandatory here.

The Lötschental is surrounded by glaciers and mountains almost 4000 meters high. Down in the valley, however, there are plenty of single trails, many of which are integrated into the route to Lauchernalp.

The circular tour from Kandersteg over the Gemmi Pass to Goppenstein and back through the Lötschberg tunnel is a first-class singletrail spectacle for experienced mountain bikers with a head for heights.
