First massive boom years with corona, then a slump in consumer sentiment due to the war in Ukraine and the associated high inflation: the bike industry has not yet overcome these ups and downs. The most recent example is the cult brand Orange Bikes: an insolvency administrator has been appointed and the future of the bike manufacturer, which specializes in single-pivot bikes, is open.

James Anderson from Wales has managed to become a bike coach and sponsored racing driver despite having congenital paralysis on the right side of his body. Until he was 28 years old, he hid his impairment from everyone. Now he tells his story.

Lorraine Truong, the former enduro and downhill rider, has been unable to ride her bike since suffering a severe traumatic brain injury.
