There is a lot of motocross DNA under the hood of Yamaha's e-mountainbikes. The new motors in the PW-X2 and PW-ST series are set to bring a new riding experience thanks to new sensor technology and a new automatic mode.

The Japanese motors are already providing powerful support on numerous e-mountainbikes, with Giant and Haibike, for example, ensuring that Yamaha units are well-known and popular. In future, Yamaha will not only act as a motor supplier, but will also build its own electric bikes, initially only for the USA.
