Garmin refreshes its eTrex series

The eTrex devices are Garmin's best-selling products, which have now undergone a significant overhaul. The devices now support the display of raster maps, have 1.7 gigabits of memory, also receive Russian GPS signals for even greater accuracy and have an operating time of up to 25 hours.

In contrast to the entry-level model eTrex 10, the eTrex 20 and eTrex 30 models have an anti-reflective color screen, a worldwide base map with plastic display, numerous points of interest such as restaurants, huts and hotels and optional microSD memory cards with pre-installed street, lake and topo maps. The eTrex 30 also has a built-in barometric altimeter and a three-axis compass.
