Hägglingen now has a small trail center: four trails with a total length of 1100 metres. It is the result of a compromise that hardly makes anyone happy and is unlikely to have any steering effect. The mini trail center shows how little space Aargau allows for biking.

Gränichen is known in MTB circles for its racing and training base. However, trail biking was prohibited there until recently. Now there are official trails, but the bikers still have to develop them into an attractive network.

If you want to find out on which roads bicycles are banned in the canton of Aargau, you have to dig deep. And you probably won't find out even then. The administration is working on a solution.
