The focus of the third day of the festival was the UCI Bike Marathon, the sporting highlight of the 31st FSA Bike Festival. Early in the morning, top athletes from eleven countries battled for valuable world ranking points on the Ronda Extrema. The legendary route demanded everything from them on over 82 kilometers and almost 3500 meters of altitude around Riva. At the same time, amateur bikers competed in the shorter distances, and the new e-bike marathon celebrated its debut with Lake Garda enjoyment instead of time pressure.

Italy is always good for a legislative joke. The most recent example: the ban on riding with a load at the rear that protrudes over the side of the car, which is the case with practically all bike-car combinations. But that is already history again.
