The suspension pioneers have saved them for the spring: according to the RockShox engineers, systems such as SPV and TerraLogic patronize the rider. They are countering this with "The Red Pill": suspension elements equipped with this technology are supposed to adapt to the rider's wishes and needs at lightning speed without tools and from the handlebars. The website for the new technology certainly looks good.

"The company that brought you U-Turn® and Dual Air? is back." This announcement from RockShox doesn't exactly come across as modest, but the company's postal address (Garden of the Gods, somewhere in Colorado) obliges you to rhetorically reach for the stars. Much is still up in the air: RockShox's own website lists the aims of the latest innovative step rather than providing any information about the specific technical solutions. After all, RockShox's aim is not to lose touch with the top dogs Answer-Manitou and Fox.

A new magic word: "Motion Control Damping"
Only this much is revealed: Thanks to the specially developed "Motion Control Damping", the new suspension elements should be able to be adapted to a wide range of needs: Firm for the climb, dynamic and forgiving for the way back down and with sufficient bottom-out protection to iron out a hard impact after a rough jump. The best thing about it: this adjustment can be done in no time at all and without expensive special pumps or tools. In this way, RockShox wants to enable every biker to set up their suspension individually without incapacitating them or patronizing them with a supposedly intelligent shock.
