Included are tour reports that couldn't be more different. Ride dived into the city of Zurich on a trail research trip, tackled the gondola tour in Lenk in the Bernese Oberland and traveled to Val Gardena in the Dolomites for the legendary White Russian Trail. And there's a whole load of adventure too: with a mountain bike rigged up, he kayaked through the south of France to perhaps the most unusual bike spots in Europe.

The legendary rail tours are familiar from Graubünden. Their little sibling can be found in Lenk in the Bernese Oberland. Predicate small but mighty. The descent from Rasciesa in Val Gardena to Chiusa is also rather unknown. Away from the crowds, there is a trail here called "White Russian": creamy and high-percentage. And then there is the Züri Trail Trilogy. The route packs the best descents in the city of Zurich into one route - there is probably no better city tour!

The background reports are in-depth. Ride delves into the world of foresters and gets to the bottom of their perspective on mountain biking. Conclusion: We wouldn't be so different if we listened to each other more often. And then Ride poses the question of where the limits of mountain biking lie. High alpine tours with glacier sections, is that justifiable? Where does the justifiable end and where does the crazy begin? Is there even such a limit?  

But the May issue has even more to offer. Bike and accessory tests are of course just as much a part of it as the varied lounge or the photo series by selected photographers. And what was true for all previous issues of Ride is no different here: above-average quality pictures, a loving design and a varied lounge with lots of interesting and unusual news from the world of mountain biking.
