For example, to Zermatt on the Höhbalmen Trail. Nowhere is the view of the Matterhorn better than here. And with the additional loop to the 3345-metre-high Platthorn, the tour becomes the highlight of the season. The pre-tour in Flims also leads to the edge of the glaciers, and on the route over the Col Fefita in the Aosta Valley, none other than the highest mountain in the Alps, Mont Blanc, is your constant companion. The fourth tour presented in the magazine is somewhat more moderate but no less full of character. It leads to Älggi, the geographical center of Switzerland, and it's not the mountain air that cools you down here, but Lake Sarnen.

The August issue of Ride also places great emphasis on interesting reports. One of them takes us to Jamaica for the Fat Tire Festival, while the other looks at the fact that many world-class downhillers are believers. Ride wants to find out what role religion plays in top-class sport and whether it is easier to reach the podium with God.

And what has been true of all previous issues of Ride is no different for issue 04/2016: above-average quality images, a lovingly designed layout and a varied lounge with lots of interesting and unusual reports from the world of mountain biking.
