Ride N° 96 - May 2025

CHF 12.50

In the May issue, the focus is on the great classics. These include the Bahnentour in Lenzerheide and the Ticino Trail-Methusalem on the Monti di Motti. A classic of a different kind is the Tabarettascharte in South Tyrol. It is the well-known access to the Ortler for mountaineers, but is still an insider tip in mountain bike circles. This also applies to the Valle Varaita. Ride provides a great travel report from the southern valley of Piedmont, which offers the best conditions for a classic.

The trail reports are supplemented with a lot of background from the sport of mountain biking. This includes an analysis of why many major bike manufacturers have set up shop in southern Germany and Switzerland. And Ride explores the question of why more and more mountain bikers are switching to gravel bikes and leaving studded tires behind.

The May issue also features another large lounge with all sorts of interesting and surprising facts from the world of mountain biking, supplemented by several ride tests and large and unusual photo series.
