Monte Biaina – Val del Tovo
Description
The route starts in Arco at just under 90 meters above sea level. From here, the road winds its way via Padaro and onwards via Bocca del Creer, initially on asphalt and then on gravel until just below the Monte Biaina summit. The last few meters are then rideable with an e-bike, without a motor you push here. However, e-mountain bikers also push for the last few meters. Once you reach the top, you have a bombastic 360-degree panorama. On a clear day, you can see as far as the Adamello and Brenta groups with their glaciated mountain ranges.
The descent towards Val del Tovo runs entirely along the ridge over the Cima Nanzone. However, a short section has to be pushed off as it is too risky to ride. At the saddle before Cima Nanzone, turn right onto the 409er hiking trail. This winds its way completely through the valley and offers pure variety on difficulty levels S2 to S3. Very enduro-heavy and with good views, the trail meters can only be soaked up. In this style, you return to Arco, where this perfect trail loop comes to an end.

Beautiful tour. Lake Garda adventure on the loneliest paths.
The description is just rubbish. Carry ebike up with narrow sections. Then carry the bike down again. Steep path barely recognizable under leaf cover. Not many people cycle there. Top tour. But if the Sunday cyclist goes on the tour with the rental bike.... there is frustration
I did this tour on 15.4.2022..... and I have to say that it is a great tour, whether I would ride over the Cima Nanzone again after the summit, I think less, mountain pushing.... or rather carrying, I decided to carry. The unrideable downhill section is about 100-150m long, well it could be a bit longer...... Speaking of carrying "on gravel to just below the Monte Biaina summit. The last few meters are then rideable with an e-bike, without a motor you push here. But then the e-mountain bikers also push the last few meters" Quote from Martin Depauli , I would like to see this gentleman pushing an e-bike to this summit on the indicated route. I'm glad that I'm still on the road with my e-bike, which is a lot easier to carry. You carry the bike about 50 to 100m in rough terrain up to the summit.
I doubt whether this tour is suitable for e-bikes.
A good tour, which I would ride a little differently the second time, but I would repeat the carrying passage to the summit.
sporting greetings
Servus,
We always take the battery out of the bike and put it in the rucksack - although that's fine for the short distance :-)
