Since the merger of two heavyweights in the sporting goods industry to form Adidas Salomon AG, Adidas Cycling and Mavic have belonged to the same company. Now the two cycling units are also being merged operationally, in France. The new "Mavic-Adidas Cycling" division is moving into the Salomon headquarters in Annecy. At the helm is Bernard Millaud, the previous Managing Director of Mavic.
