A resounding name, and much seen on the trails: The mountain bikes from Steppenwolf. After a long period of ups and downs, it is now time for a new start. Steppenwolf is being relaunched as an e-bike brand by the German Zweirad Union and 18 models with Shimano motors are rolling onto the starting line.

Steppenwolf e-bikes are produced in Germany as the sporty high-end brand of Zweirad Union in Sangerhausen. The model range comprises three main categories with 18 e-bikes, from the 160-millimeter fully to the SUV fully and the low-entry frame. All bikes are equipped with Shimano e-bike drives. The Steppenwolf e-bikes are sold via specialist retailers.
