"We are firmly convinced that e-bike ABS will become established for all types of e-bike in the long term and will become the standard for high-quality e-bikes," explains Claus Fleischer, Managing Director of Bosch eBike Systems. "With Tektro, we are now working with another renowned brake manufacturer alongside Magura, which is particularly concerned about the safety of eBikers."

Bike manufacturers will therefore be able to choose more flexibly in future which brake systems they use if they install Bosch e-bike ABS. The first e-bikes with Bosch ABS and Tektro brake components are expected to be available from the third quarter of 2023.
