More than half of Europeans wear corrective eyewear—yet when playing sports, most still reach for their everyday glasses or go without any correction at all. This not only hinders performance but can also compromise safety. Modern prescription sports glasses offer a solution. Eyewear specialist Julbo knows exactly how to make this work.

Unfortunately, finding the right pair of cycling glasses isn’t all that easy. After all, just because a pair fits well in the store doesn’t automatically mean it will perform well on the trail or in the wind. Also, you can’t always tell a pair of glasses’ quality just by looking at them. It’s often only when you use them that you discover what a model is capable of and where its strengths lie. Among the huge selection of sports glasses, there are a few that stand out from the masses – not visually, but in terms of performance.

When temperatures rise above 25 degrees Celsius, the right choice of equipment makes the difference between riding fun and heat build-up. With the right equipment, even the hottest day can be mastered in reasonable comfort. Because if you keep a cool head, you'll be more focused and safer on the descent.

The current trend in bike goggles is towards ever larger lenses that have the look of aquariums. The wearers look correspondingly strange, especially when the glasses are worn without a helmet. With the Frequency, Julbo presents a model that is discreet and also looks good off-bike.

Julbo defines the Fury model as "made for speed". In other words, glasses for speedsters. This is a bold statement that had to be verified and the glasses were subjected to a speed check. And not in the lab, but on the trails at home.

Julbo, one of the leading sports eyewear manufacturers from France, is stepping up its ambitions in the bike sector. In 2020, the traditional French manufacturer is presenting several new and pioneering bike eyewear models. The highlights include the RUSH and QUICKSHIFT MTB models.
