KS is giving the Rage-i a major overhaul and will officially launch the second generation at Eurobike. The new Vario seatpost can be adjusted via air pressure, is designed to be easier to maintain, and offers an improved ratio of travel to installed length. This makes it more versatile and modern.

The Kindshock company is considered the mother of the telescopic seatpost. They dominated the market for years, but then the brand went a little quiet. In 2013, the first radio-controlled seatpost from Tranz-X came onto the market, which unfortunately failed to catch on. Kindshock took its time here and only recently launched the LEV Circuit, its first e-post.

KS gives gravel riders a smoother ride with the suspension fork firstling GTC. The gravel fork features a stiff and lightweight carbon fork bridge that is seamlessly connected to the aluminum dip tubes and dropouts. The GTC offers 40 millimetres of travel, an external low-speed compression adjustment and a lockout lever.

KS is only the third supplier to present a wireless dropper post, the LEV Circuit. The throne lifter is available in 30.9 and 31.6 millimeter diameters and from 125 to 200 millimeter adjustment stroke. The connection between the release and seatpost is established via Bluetooth. The LEV Circuit is dust and waterproof and sells for 699 US dollars, or around 640 euros.

Carbon has so far been used rather sparingly on Vario seatposts. Seatpost pioneer KS took a chance on the stem and introduced a lowerable carbon seatpost, first for cross-country and then also for enduro use. For a whole year, the LEV Ci was raised and lowered over 150 millimetres of travel and handled roughly, always with the thought in the back of my mind: Will the stem hold up?

A mountain bike needs a suspension fork, disc brakes - and a dropper seat post. For a long time, Rock Shox's Reverb was the top dog here, and today there is a wide variety of dropper posts. Ride took a closer look at the Koryak dropper post from Shimano's Pro accessories brand. Initial conclusion: The post not only shines with its good price.

Kind Shock has recognized that small people in particular often have to do without dropper seatposts with internal cable routing. Now the variable seatpost pioneer is presenting the "Lev Integra" model with a short stroke and short shaft, as well as two clamping diameters.

Kindshock - clearly a protagonist in the evolution of variable seatposts from cross country to enduro - is expanding its portfolio: The lightweight carbon dropper post "Lev Ci" now follows the trend towards more travel, with a fresh 175 millimetres on board.
