During the official team presentation at Swiss Bike Park Oberried, the Swiss mountain bike team Thömus-Maxon presented its sporting goals, structural developments, and technical innovations for the 2026 season. With continuity in the elite squad, new partnerships, and targeted investments in young talent and equipment, the team is looking forward to the coming competition year with ambition.

The Thömus-Maxon mountain bike team is taking a groundbreaking step in its history and for the first time is taking part in an international road program with several appearances in the UCI Europe Tour. An innovative project designed to prepare the riders for the increasingly fast and tactical mountain bike races and at the same time stimulate their physical fitness.

The Swiss mountain bike team Thömus-Maxon is laying the foundations for a successful future and is entering the new season with great continuity and class. Team leader and world number 1 Alessandra Keller has signed a multi-year contract, as has Mathias Flückiger. The contract of the Olympic silver medallist even extends beyond the end of his active career. The cooperation with Lars Forster and Vital Albin has also been extended. Only Luke Wiedmann is leaving the team after four years.

The successful Thömus-Maxon mountain bike team will continue to be supported by its two partners Thömus and Maxon for the next Olympic cycle until 2028. The continuation of this cooperation and the contract extensions with other long-standing partners not only secure the sporting future of Ralph Näf's team, but also enable the structures to develop further and become even more professional.

The Thömus Maxon team led by Alessandra Keller and Mathias Flückiger has already made a strong start to the 2023 racing season. The goals for the upcoming World Cup season are high, and that also applies to the World Championships in Glasgow.

Two mountain bike manufacturers from Switzerland, Stoll Bikes from Beringen and Transalpes Bike Manufaktur from Baar, are joining forces. The first result of the collaboration is an e-mountainbike, which is already lightweight on the part of Transalpes and is being put on a diet by Stoll. The e-bike rolls off with a weight of just 14 kilograms. It can now be tested and purchased from Stoll.

Alessandra Keller from Nidwalden and the Swiss mountain bike team Thömus maxon have extended their collaboration for a further two years until 2024. This means that the double overall World Cup winner, Swiss champion and current world number 1 will be entering her eighth season in the team structure of the current Thömus maxon team next season.

The year 2021 was the most successful so far for the "Thömus maxon Swiss Mountain Bike Racing" team. By winning the UCI Mountain Bike Overall World Cup and Mathias Flückiger's outstanding performances, the Swiss team has arrived at the top of the world.

Swiss UCI Mountain Bike Overall World Cup winner Mathias Flückiger will continue to ride for Thömus until the next Olympic Games in Paris. The world's best mountain biker has extended his contract with "Thömus maxon Swiss Mountain Bike Racing" until the end of 2024.

Maxon has previously caused a sensation with drives for helicopters on Mars and in the e-bike sector with a rear wheel motor. Now the success story is set to continue on two wheels with a lightweight and almost invisible mid-motor.

The Giswil-based company Maxon Motor, known among other things for its involvement in NASA's Mars missions, has developed a high-tech motor for e-bikes. With this retrofit kit, you can convert your own bike into an e-bike.
