With five models, the German tire specialists are setting the course for the 2013 season in the direction of 650b wheels. With the "Hans Dampf Super Gravity", Schwalbe presents a mixture of downhill and freeride tires.

A technical defect may occur in a production batch of the Schwalbe tubular tire adhesive "Tubular Cement" from 2011. Schwalbe is launching a recall campaign for the faulty product.

While the most popular Schwalbe mountain bike profiles "Racing Ralph" and "Nobby Nic" were previously only available as an Evo line, i.e. in a high-end version, the Germans now also offer a more affordable Performance line. In other words, still solid quality, but at a reasonable price. The "Dirty Dan" downhill tire is also available in a new version.

At Schwalbe, enduro riders and freeriders will soon also have the pleasure of gliding over snow and ice as if on rails, as the "Ice Spiker Pro" is now also available in the 2.35 inch size.

Schwalbe is stepping up its offensive against the gray market. The tire manufacturer is taking legal action against companies that violate Schwalbe's sales regulations and rights. The actions could backfire: Within a few hours of it becoming known, violent protests with threats of boycotts were being voiced on the internet.

Both the "Rocket Ron" and the "Nobby Nic" are getting a bigger brother. Both will be available for 29er rims (57-622, 29x2.25) in future.

Schwalbe is transferring its "non-flat" technology to a mountain bike tire this season. The new "Marathon Plus MTB" is designed to prevent flat tires thanks to a special insert.

The bicycle tire manufacturer Schwalbe is now marking its high-quality tires with individual barcodes. In doing so, Schwalbe wants to create a tool for handling complaints and combat the gray market.

Since its market launch in 2005, Schwalbe's Nobby Nic has become one of the best-selling mountain bike tires in Europe. As the first tire with a triple rubber compound, the Nobby Nic has now been revised. Thanks to a variation in the block spacing, it should offer even more grip and even better mileage. It has also lost 30 grams in weight thanks to the optimized structure and now weighs 540 grams in the 2.25 inch size.

Unlike the rest of the economy, bicycle tire manufacturer Schwalbe is far from out of steam. The company reported a record result for last year and is looking to the future with confidence.

Matching the colorful design of the latest mountain bikes, Schwalbe is launching its top competition tires Racing Ralph and Nobby Nic with colored sidewalls. The white, silver or red stripes on the tire shoulders are the perfect complement to the bike design.

After a recall last summer, Schwalbe has revised the Big Betty, Muddy Mary, Al Mighty and Black Shark Mud downhill clincher tires. The new tires can be easily recognized by the golden labels.

The tire manufacturer Schwalbe has announced a recall of downhill tires. They have discovered that the wire core in the tire bead has come loose on some of their models after prolonged use, meaning that a secure fit of the tire on the rim is no longer guaranteed. The recall affects the Big Betty, Muddy Mary, Al Mighty and Black Shark Mud models.

Because the wire core in the tire bead had come loose in some downhill tires, Schwalbe is voluntarily recalling all tires of these models. The affected riders can look forward to a generous exchange offer.

Schwalbe is now focusing more strongly on downhill sport. With two new tires, a new team sponsorship and a special homepage for the downhill range, Schwalbe is strengthening its offering for downhill mountain bikers.
