Cross-country racing is a big deal for Vittoria. The Italians are an official partner of the UCI World Cup and sponsor numerous teams. It is therefore not surprising that they also focus on products in this segment. The Peyote model is designed for racing, but is also ideal for recreational athletes.

With its new tire insert, Vittoria presents a solution for cross-country and trail use that weighs just 50 grams. After several months of testing, it has become clear that the Air-Liner Light can do more than it promises.

The closer we get to winter, the more the feel of mountain biking changes under the influence of rain, low temperatures and humidity. The dry and mixed terrain of summer allows you to ride with smoother and faster tires, rather than knobbly and grippy tires. So what does it take to make riding in the wet fun?

Once the market has been stocked with down-country bikes, the matching tires follow. As with the bikes, there are two "camps": some are closer to the trail segment, have coarse studs with good rolling properties, and the others are more cross-country-oriented, with a little more tread than the racing finches. Vittoria belongs to the latter, and their Syerra offers more than first glance might suggest.

Vittoria is rolling out a new tire that is aimed squarely at the downcountry clientele: The Syerra should roll as well as a cross-country tire and at the same time deliver high grip reliability in technical terrain.

Who hasn't been there: you go down to the cellar fully motivated and want to grab your bike for an after-work ride, only to find it has a flat tire. That's the end of the fun, it's time to get to work. Good products are needed to ensure that the repair is carried out quickly or that the puncture doesn't happen in the first place. At Italian tire expert Vittoria, the signs are pointing to Volt and Ampère: four tires are rolling off the production line that are explicitly designed for e-mountain bikes.

The tool for the rough stuff: With the Mazza, Vittoria is launching a tire that aims to provide all-round potential with large lugs and an open profile. With the special ingredient Graphene and a quadruple rubber compound, the Mazza is equipped for numerous challenges. The engineers have paid particular attention to the design of the outer lugs, which are slightly longer and softer on the inside for plenty of grip and slightly shorter on the outside to prevent the lugs from folding away under load.

Biking downhill is a great way to get fit and there's nothing wrong with bike days when the train or shuttle takes the altitude meters off your hands. There are a few great products for enduro-oriented biking that are just as suitable for racers as they are for hobby riders.

The mountain bike tire has already been invented? Not at all, the engineers at Vittoria have reached deep into their bag of tricks and are presenting a quadruple rubber compound. In particular, grip in wet conditions, puncture protection and durability should reach a new level.

More grip, more protection for the rim and better puncture protection - who doesn't want that? Systems such as Huck Norris or Cush Core offer just that. At Vittoria, a new type of tire insert has been developed with tubeless expert Deaneasy, which should significantly improve the tubeless tire system even further.
