Sayle Cycle was founded in Munich in 2023; the bicycle was created in the summer of 2022 as part of Marcel Sayle's industrial design bachelor's thesis on mobility in cities. It combines Sayle's personal background in the bicycle and metal construction industry with his newly acquired knowledge in the field of industrial design. 

According to its inventor, the № bike is a lowtail that bridges the gap between an urban cargo bike and an off-road cargo bike. The ATB version is the lightest and sportiest version of the №, a real cross-country, all-terrain and adventure bike. The all-terrain tires provide sufficient traction off the beaten track and should be a loyal companion for extended tours and bikepacking adventures.
