DT Swiss presents its own tubeless kit

The Biel-based company DT Swiss is constantly presenting products that go beyond the scope of its previous product range. After suspension struts and rims, a tubeless kit now follows: with the help of a special valve, a rim and adhesive tape as well as a special sealant, UST tires can be used on DT rims without a tube. This not only reduces the risk of punctures, but also offers advantages in terms of traction and comfort, as you can ride with far less air pressure without the risk of punctures.

Take a DT X4.1 rim, any tire for Mavic's UST tubeless system and the new tubeless kit from DT Swiss - and you have a lightweight tubeless wheel. The idea is not completely new, as the Swiss company Eclipse Microsystems has been offering a similar conversion kit for some time with its "Tubeless Kit". However, the DT "Tubeless Kit" is likely to be somewhat cheaper than the competitor's product.
