Fatbike tours are usually only barely signposted or not signposted at all. To make it easier for fat bikers in Switzerland to find their way around, René Albisser from Trailrider-Bikeshop, together with various bike stores, has launched the Fatbike Trophy. The first edition of the format was held in Ägeri last year and was a complete success: the trophy is now being expanded throughout Switzerland.

With regional partners, the best fat bike tours in the various regions of Switzerland are prepared and published on the Trophy website; at the moment, 14 tours throughout Switzerland are available for download. Once the tours have been successfully completed, a stamp card can be purchased from the local bike store. The tours are stamped by the store and a warm drink is given as a reward. At the end of the season, a Rocky Mountain fat bike will be raffled off as the main prize among all those who have completed a tour. Further information: www.fatbike-trophy.ch
