Fi'zi:k builds the cockpit for the road

Since 1996, the Italian accessories specialist has made a name for itself, particularly with a wide and independently designed range of saddles. Now the portfolio is about to be expanded, but for the time being only professional racing cyclists will be served.

The AG2R La Mondiale team enlists Fi'zi:k to put the new products through their final test. New additions include stems and handlebars for the road bike, which complement the in-house contact points such as saddle, handlebar tape, seatpost and shoes. The team in question is still providing final input for product development, and the Italian stems and handlebars will be available to end customers in the course of the 2013 cycling season - in 152 days to be precise.

The manufacturer has not yet announced exact specifications for the new products. However, it has hinted that several handlebar models with different materials for different user groups with individual anatomical requirements can be fitted to the in-house stem, similar to the saddles.
