Fox makes an announcement for the new dropper post: the Transfer Neo is the fastest wireless dropper on the market. And that's not all: the post shows up significantly shorter in terms of stack height than the competition, 47 millimeters from the bottom of the controller to the center of the seat rails, an 18 millimeter improvement over other wireless droppers, Fox announces. 

There's also a 200 millimeter maximum drop option, which gives riders more drop relative to their height to negotiate steep trails and slides. The lateral positioning of the battery on the top tube of the frame offers maximum tire clearance - so you don't have to worry about the battery hitting the ground mid-ride when fully compressed. 

The post has a Schrader valve at the top end, or below the saddle frame, which allows the pressure to be easily adjusted to suit the terrain or the rider's preferences, or to compensate for pressure loss over time. 

The Transfer Neo post is also available in a 34.9-millimetre diameter option. Both the dip tube and stanchion are optimized here. This results in a lighter dropper post with less friction compared to other 34.9-millimetre dropper posts, which use a 31.6-millimetre diameter upper tube with a thicker down tube. 

And: The post rolls with an app. This tracks the usage cycles and notifies the rider on their smartphone when it is time to register the seatpost for service. This is much more accurate than trying to keep track of the hours.
