Xduro3 is the name of the 2016 line of e-mountainbikes equipped with Bosch motors, almost all models are equipped with the specific off-road motor from the Swabians, the Performance CX mid-motor. Haibike's range is expanding enormously in terms of depth and breadth, with 12 new models ready for the 2016 season and the entire collection now comprising 41 e-bikes in the Xduro3 range.

Within this portfolio, the carbon offensive continues: nine carbon fiber bikes (3 fullies, 6 hardtails) with a mid-motor and newly revised frame roll on two wheel sizes.

Wheel size and suspension travel are also spoiled for choice: Haibike installs numerous wheel sizes within the 41 models, so 26", 27.5", 27.5" Plus and 29" are present in the portfolio. The suspension travel ranges from 100 to 200 millimetres.

A trend can be seen at the German e-bike manufacturer: While 45 km/h e-bikes have so far been the exception to the rule, eight fast S-Pedelec variants are being added to the range for the 2016 season, which cut a fine figure on the road.

Haibike not only relies on the market leader Bosch, but also on the motor construction expertise of Yamaha. This drive, which is installed on a total of 27 Sduro e-mountainbikes, will protect the rider's hearing in future: the motor is around 11 dB quieter, which corresponds to a reduction in motor noise by half.

Haibike is on the lookout for new customers: Electricity allowance is also available for the little ones. With the Hardfour RX and the Hardfour Life, Haibike is building two e-mountainbikes with 24-inch wheels.

Yamaha promises a range extension of up to 30% compared to Eco mode thanks to a new, additional riding mode called Eco+. Further developments have also been made at the fuel pump: The charger pumps juice into the battery faster with 180 watts instead of 151 watts, while the charger's external dimensions have been reduced by 40%.

For the first time, all wheel sizes (26", 27.5", 27.5" Plus and 29") are available in the Sduro segment. The option of attaching two chainrings to the mid-motor remains a special feature of the Yamaha line from Haibike. At 455 percent, the Sduro E mountain bikes achieve a gear range that is around 120 percent higher than drives with one chainring.
