Hammer bike, flying office chairs and nostalgic tire patches

Hammer Nicolai

Stuff picks

With the G18 Hammer, Nicolai is positioning a product precisely for a niche that shouldn't really be a niche at all due to its popularity: Freeride. Anyone who likes freeriding of a special kind, namely with an office chair, should head straight for Davos. And if you fancy repairing tires with patches, Lezyne is the right place for you.

Some new features at the start of the season in the Engadin

Biketest Happening Engadin mit Oli Dorn

The Biketest Happening is the traditional start to the bike season in the Engadin. On the weekend of June 24 and 25, 2023, numerous mountain bikes will be available for testing at the valley station of the Marguns cable car in Celerina. Former bike pro Oli Dorn will also be riding the local trails for the three different groups "Kids, Flow Trail and Singletrail" for riding technique courses.

The summer season starts on mountain bikes and office chairs in Davos

Rock the Bock Festival Davos Klosters

Davos is launching the bike season with the slogan "Rock the Bock" and the festival of the same name. The weekend from 23 to 25 June 2023 is all about workshops on and off the mountain bike, concerts at Seehofseeli and the entertaining office chair race on the Davos promenade.

Really pops into the niche: Nicolai G18 Hammer

G18 Hammer Nicolai

The new Nicolai G18 Hammer is a thoroughbred freerider and nothing else. Not a compromise, not an all-rounder, and not a jack of all trades. When developing the G18 Hammer, Nicolai worked closely with team rider Max Kruse, one of the few German freeriders who not only competes in formats such as the Fest Series, but has also been at home on the jumplines in the Moto X format for years and is constantly driving the progression of this sport.

Almost like in the old days: repairing tires with patches

Lezyne Repair Tire

In the age of tubeless, sealing a hole with a patch is no longer à la mode. But this is exactly what Lezyne offers, not for tubes but for tires. Lightly roughen the punctured tire in the old-fashioned way, then apply adhesive fluid and then fit the patch.
