Procore, Dean Easy, Huck Norris: There are several ways to improve the puncture protection of mountain bike tires and increase the riding characteristics at the same time. The US company Flat Tire Defender goes its own way for riders with tubeless tires: With foam shaped into a ring, a special valve and a portion of sealing milk. The foam serves to protect the rim flank from deformation in the event of an impact and also prevents burping, i.e. the abrupt removal of the tire from the rim with loss of air.

With the Tubolito, B-Bikes also has news for riders who still rely on traditional inner tubes. This Tubolito has no seams and therefore offers one less weak point that is prone to punctures. With an innovative tube material, a thermoplastic, the manufacturer has impressively reduced the weight of the tube: a 27.5" tube weighs around 82 grams, the 29er version around 85 grams.
