From the very beginning, Michel Manz made sure that his Onza Tires brand was characterized by a lean range, high quality and an understated design. Since the first tires were launched on the market in 2008, TST Trading GmbH has been responsible for distribution in Switzerland. This distribution partnership was literally a logical step, as both TST and Onza were founded on Manz's initiative. In order to concentrate fully on the development of Onza with the associated company Apex Sports LLC, Manz handed over the operational management of TST Trading GmbH to Silas Obrist on November 1, 2012.

"I would like to thank TST for the work they have done over the past seven years. They have also mounted Onza Tires on all test bikes at events such as the Test Ride and thus made our products known," says Manz from Apex Sports LLC about the past seven years.

In the meantime, Onza Tires has expanded its range to include mud, road and everyday tires as well as sealant. As of September 1, 2014, the switch to the eastern Swiss bicycle and parts specialist Chris Sports will now follow in the domestic market. "This repositioning is by mutual agreement: After all, TST Trading GmbH has another major tire brand in its range. And Chris Sports is an attractive alternative for Onza Tires, as the product ranges of the two partners complement each other perfectly." (Editor's note: The other tire brand refers to Maxxis.)

Chris Sports will begin building up a comprehensive warehouse for the Onza Tires range in September. This process should be completed in November 2014. Specialist retailers will be able to access the most important items at Chris Sports as early as mid-September.
