The gondola lift to Monte Tamaro was not in operation for the entire summer of 2025 because it was being completely rebuilt. Construction work is now in its final phase and operations will start on September 15.

The first race of the Škoda Swiss Bike Cup 2025 on Monte Ceneri was dominated by wet, muddy conditions. Timon Rüegg seized the moment in the men's race and took victory in the elite category. Jolanda Neff lived up to her role as favorite, winning ahead of Nicole Koller.

In the seventh and final race of the "Proffix Swiss Bike Cup" in Carona near Lugano, Titouan Carod and Alessandra Keller emerge victorious. Reto Indergand defends his overall Cup victory with a sixth place, while Sina Frei takes the overall victory without the last race.
