As is well known, the Western Alps in France are a vast masterpiece for mountain biking. In July, Ride expanded its tour database to include additional fantastic tours in the Western Alps, with a focus on Haute Provence.

The tour database was expanded in October to include numerous new singletrail routes in the Eastern Alps. These include many routes in Friuli and Austria. A total of 48 newly researched tours were added in October 2025.

With the start of the season on April 28, 2023, Area 47 is opening up a new dimension of mountain biking in Ötztal and far beyond. Austria's first indoor bike park offers year-round biking fun for users of all skill levels, regardless of the weather. After two years of planning, the varied offer with pump track, flowline, kicker, drops and more is in line with the latest trends.

As part of the tourism cooperation between the BORA - hansgrohe cycling team and Ötztal Tourismus, the young riders of the German top team set up their training tents in Niederthai last week. There is still plenty of snow in the mountains, but the Bike Republic Sölden is already in the starting blocks for the 2019 bike season and has announced the opening of the season from June 7 to 10 as well as a new trail: At over seven kilometers, the "Gahe Line" is the longest in the Republic. In September, the Trailmaster Challenge celebrates its comeback in Sölden.

The BIKE REPUBLIC SÖLDEN is a nation for everyone - ONE FOR ALL! It is a home for the entire bike spectrum, from kids and beginners to pros. The 2022 season underlines this once again with the opening of the green SCHTIRGGAR LINE, an easy beginners' trail. And with the deep black OLM VOLLE LINE, which is so challenging that it can only be ridden after an inspection. The season kicks off on June 10-12 with the BIKE OPENING - which also features a new fun enduro race in the form of the BIKE REPUBLIC RALLYE on June 11.

Sölden is ushering in a new era at the Bike Opening from June 15 to 17. The "Hin & Heä" bike swing connects the Gaislachkogel and Giggijoch areas for all bikers. The seven-kilometre-long, high alpine trail "Ollweite Line" and the "Lettn Line" are further new additions to the route network. Sölden is also using a new transport system that transports up to 480 bikes per hour up the mountain.
