Enduro trails are steeper, longer and meaner than ever before and Rock Shox recommends the new Lyrik RC2 precisely for this area of use. New on board the Lyrik is the new Charger 2 RC2 shock, which now offers independent high- and low-speed compression damping. In the new DebonAir air spring of the Lyrik, every component has been optimized for low friction in order to glide over bumps and obstacles more sensitively and counteract rider fatigue. There are now also forks with shorter offset options for the new generation of enduro bikes, where the keywords are long, low and flat. Since the color red is known to make you fast, the Lyrik is now also available in an optional red, as known from the Boxxer. Also important, of course: the Lyrik - like the Yari below - is available in 29 and 27.5 inch versions with 150 to 180 millimeter travel. Special attention was paid to the negative air chamber when redesigning the Lyrik. This is significantly more voluminous than before, which should make the fork more stable in its travel and less prone to bottoming out

The Yari, the little sister of the Lyrik, brings the much-praised look and features of the Lyrik - 35 mm chassis, Fast Black stanchions and the new DebonAir air spring - to a wider audience, as this fork is often used in the OEM business. The Motion Control damping, with its Rapid Recovery rebound and high-speed compression damping, is set to match the ride feel after the Charger damping.

When RockShox reintroduced the Pike in 2013 - and thus got back on the road to success - it became the reference among trail and enduro forks with its sensitivity and progressive ride feel. In order to maintain this position, the engineers at Rock Shox have put it on a diet, installed the new Charger 2 damping, integrated remote options and given the completely new Pike chassis matching decals. For riders, this means greater steering precision, more tire clearance (up to 2.8") and less weight - the Boost™ chassis makes the weight saving possible. At the same time, the DebonAir air spring inside reduces friction and thus improves performance. The stroke of the Pike is available in 120 to 160 millimetres, each in the two wheel sizes 27.5 and 29 inches.

The Revelation, one of the first long-travel forks, has also been further refined and optimized by Rock Shox to cut a fine figure on trail and enduro bikes. Its chassis comes directly from the Pike, offers high stiffness with its 35 mm stanchions and fits in perfectly with the look of modern trail and enduro bikes. Damping is taken care of by the tried-and-tested Motion Control system, which is designed to ride almost like a Charger with its special tune. The Revelation has also increased its suspension travel options (up to 160 mm in 27.5" and up to 150 mm in 29"). The new DebonAir air spring reduces friction in the air spring and thus maintains traction in a wide range of conditions.

RockShox is also going on the update offensive with the shocks: The inner air chamber of the Super Deluxe RC3 has been revised and offers greatly improved lubrication and friction-reduced piston travel, which should make the bike stick to the trail. The rebound has also been revised, which offers more control and riding performance in fast corners and on subsequent hard hits. The gradation of the rebound setting on the new Super Deluxe has also been redefined at even intervals. The factory setup is now in the middle position of the setting.

With its outstanding platform setting for pedaling efficiency, a compression setting for really all trail conditions, and proven performance, the RockShox Super Delux RCT shock is ready to take on any challenge. Also on board is the DebonAir air chamber for friction-reduced operation and optimum traction.

Rock Shox has also worked on the steel spring dampers: The Super Deluxe Coil RCT features a perfectly balanced platform with two-stage Open/Pedal compression damping for efficient pedaling, offering finely adjustable compression damping and the unmistakable feel of a RockShox Super Deluxe coil shock for all trails.

If you want to enjoy the benefits of a coil shock without having to do without a remote, you should now pay close attention: The Super Deluxe Coil RT took the 2016 EWS title with Cecile Ravanel with its handlebar-controllable compression damping. At the touch of a button, the rider can target their energy and switch back to downhill mode in an instant to tackle the most demanding descents.

The Rock Shox engineers were the first to bring the proven performance of the popular Monarch series to the new metric damper size with the Deluxe RT3 damper. The bushings and their overlap have also been improved and enlarged. The response of the new Deluxe RT3 has also been optimized with new, friction-reduced seals and a significantly improved surface and lubrication of the inner air chamber.

Optimized for Rock Shox suspension forks there are now also fenders from the suspension fork pioneer. These mudguards not only fit the forks perfectly in terms of dimensions, but also in terms of design with fresh colors and the cool logo. The fenders come with four sturdy cable ties - so the mud flap is attached in no time at all and ready for immediate use.

If you want to get yourself a MY2019 Rock Shox fork now: The forks should be available from April 2018. Also important: For owners of older forks, Rock Shox offers the new dampers in the forks as an update, the new Charger dampers and Debonair air chambers are also available individually for retrofitting at a reasonable price.
