This could actually be something nice for under the Christmas tree. The "Velosock" comes from Lithuania and is very practical: a very stretchy fabric - which is printed in modern designs for good measure - wraps around the bike and functions as a mini garage. The smart sock is available in several versions. A minimalist version is the indoor sock, which only covers the wheels and drive unit. This can be an invaluable aid for storing the bike indoors and preventing dirty ordeals.

Velosock also supplies the "Full Cover for Transportation" free of charge worldwide. This is available in road, triathlon and mountain bike versions. This cover completely covers the bike and has zippered access points for attaching the bike to bike racks on the car. If you can't get enough of the covers, "Velosock" also offers protective covers for luggage. And they also have a heart for children (bikes): the indoor sock is available for children's bikes with 12-24 inch wheels, in fun and cool prints.
