With OnTap, Stan's NoTubes presents a new way of dispensing tubeless sealant: a silver container with a tap from which workshops can tap the liquid directly – similar to beer in a pub. Inside, a motorized mixer ensures that the particles are evenly distributed; after about ten seconds, the mixture is ready to be filled into a syringe or measuring cup. The container is filled with 20-liter refills and, according to the manufacturer, replaces around 20 one-liter bottles – saving around 75 percent plastic. A full tank is enough for around 80 mountain bikes or 160 road bikes. The system is primarily intended for bicycle repair shops that fit tubeless tires on a daily basis. However, the dispenser remains out of reach for home garages for the time being, as it is only sold to registered dealers.
