Vaude warms biker legs with Primaloft

Vaude is ready for the bike winter and presents its first bike shorts made from the lightweight synthetic fiber PrimaLoft® Eco. Combined with stretch inserts made from robust Windproof 80 material, they are designed to keep bikers' legs warm. Vaude is also launching the Minaki Jacket to match.

The great advantage of the high-quality PrimaLoft® Eco padding lies in the lightness of the material. At the same time, the synthetic fiber is characterized by excellent thermal efficiency. The new Minaki jacket and shorts therefore retain the body heat of active mountain bikers. The jacket and shorts can be compressed to a small size and stowed away in the backpack to save space and weight. Partial stretch inserts made from Windproof 80 material provide wind protection and mobility. The water- and dirt-repellent stretch material is robust and protects against abrasion in areas subject to particular wear and tear. The jacket and shorts are also manufactured in accordance with Vaude's strict Green Shape criteria in an environmentally friendly way.
The Minaki Short also received the Eurobike Award in the "Clothing" category at the Eurobike trade fair.

The lightweight hybrid shorts can be worn as a warming layer over long or short cycling shorts with padding, depending on the weather. The insulating PrimaLoft® Eco padding is combined with robust stretch inserts in the seat and knee area. The waistband is cut higher at the back and has a two-part elastic drawstring that can be individually adjusted in width. This ensures that the waistband stays close to the body in any riding position and protects the sensitive kidney area from cooling down. A side zipper offers a 2-way function: when opened from below, it makes it easier to put on the padded cycling shorts and ensures a perfect fit on the knee - even with pads - and can also be used for ventilation when opened from above.

Minaki Jacket
The perfect mix for mountain bikers: the environmentally friendly hybrid jacket keeps you nice and warm thanks to the insulating PrimaLoft® Eco padding on the front and shoulder girdle and is particularly lightweight. Combined with inserts made of water-repellent stretch material on the back and in the underarm area, the jacket is the ideal mix for mountain bikers who also want to go on tour in fall and winter. The Minaki Jacket is available as a men's and women's model.
