CycleLab is currently in the process of opening another workshop in Basel. For this exciting expansion, we’re looking for a workshop manager.

In this entrepreneurial role, you’ll lead all activities within your team and actively contribute your experience and expertise to deliver first-class service quality. Together with your team of mechanics, you’ll manage the entire bicycle repair and service process and handle logistics as well as the procurement of replacement parts. You’ll coach and mentor your team members so they can become service experts who exceed customer expectations. Whatever you do—customer satisfaction is your top priority!

In addition to running your shop, you’ll be in constant contact with the COO and your colleagues from other CycleLab locations to improve the customer experience and optimize the group’s processes and systems. Accordingly, you’re not afraid to use modern software tools, challenge the status quo, and try out innovative approaches to existing challenges. You can focus on what you do best, while receiving support from headquarters in areas such as marketing, HR, accounting, and more.

Your Profile

• Training as a Bicycle Mechanic EFZ or similar qualification
• Experience in bicycle maintenance and repair
• Familiar with e-bikes and modern bicycle technology 
• Native German speaker; good English skills are a plus
• Several years of experience in team leadership
