Deviate Cycles has resumed business operations, marking the next step in the Scottish mountain bike brand's comeback after the previous company went into liquidation. With the reopening, products and support are available again.

The turbulence in the bicycle industry remains acute: Deviate Cycles is now making headlines for being temporarily short of funds, but co-founder Ben Jones is stepping in and buying back company shares.

From December 2025, the Scottish high-end brand Deviate will be launching its first e-bike on the market. After many years in the classic mountain bike sector, the company is venturing into the electric segment.

A new chapter is opening at Deviate Cycles: complete bikes are rolling out for fall 2025. The new builds are available in Factory and Elite versions. Deviate is therefore targeting entry-level trail fans as well as high-end customers and racers.

On June 28 and 29, the Bellwald Bike Park and Rodeo Bike will be hosting the legendary Riding High Festival. The bike park will be fully open, the hottest brands will be bringing their test bikes and raclette, barbecue, cold beer and a party will be provided.

Deviate is a relatively young brand. It was founded in Scotland in 2016 by two friends, Chris Deverson and Ben Jones, out of the conviction that somewhere out there, better bikes were just waiting to be developed. Now the equally young distributor Rad Solutions is taking it upon itself to make the Scottish bikes better known in Switzerland.
