Two years after the first C10, the carbon specialists Ceetec from north-west Switzerland present the C10 FS, the successor to the cross-country full-suspension bike. With the aim of building a competitive mountain bike that offers the best performance on the world's race tracks, Ceetec have given the frame more suspension travel, straightened it, simplified it and improved it in several respects.

Lightweight stems are often insufficiently torsionally stiff in relation to the frame and handlebars. To ensure that power and steering precision are not lost, Swiss component specialist Ceetec has developed the lightweight and stiff Phenum C10 stem. Available in lengths of 70 to 100 millimetres and weighing 100 to 121 grams, the stem amazed even the operators of the test laboratory in terms of stability.

After what is probably the most robust carbon downhill handlebar, the Frenkendorf-based company Ceetec is launching the Phenum XCM handlebar for endurance fans with similar attributes. The 780 millimeter wide carbon handlebars with a UD or CFRP finish can be shortened to 720 millimeters and have a 7.5 degree backsweep and 2 degree upsweep. Despite its light weight of 137 grams, the handlebars passed the ISO 4210 and DIN EN 15194 test bench tests without any problems, as well as the special dynamic tests with up to three million load changes and additional overload tests.
