After what is probably the most robust carbon downhill handlebar, the Frenkendorf-based company Ceetec is launching the Phenum XCM handlebar for endurance fans with similar attributes. The 780 millimeter wide carbon handlebars with a UD or CFRP finish can be shortened to 720 millimeters and have a 7.5 degree backsweep and 2 degree upsweep. Despite its light weight of 137 grams, the handlebars passed the ISO 4210 and DIN EN 15194 test bench tests without any problems, as well as the special dynamic tests with up to three million load changes and additional overload tests.
