As a "Vader" rider, you were used to a sporty geometry. With the revised "Vader" line, however, this is the only thing that has remained the same. The frame has been completely rebuilt.

Aluminum is still relevant: Swiss bike manufacturer Canyon proves that a lightweight hardtail can also be built without carbon. Its "Racing 8.5" model relies on an aluminum frame and components and still weighs well under 9 kilograms.

The Biel-based bike manufacturer Canyon is leading the way and reporting good business performance in the current tough economic times. This is reason enough for Managing Director Jürg Schoch to erect a new building in the Biel suburb of Pieterlen. The ground-breaking ceremony took place on 13 May, and the dealer meeting in September will take place in the new premises.
