Dainese is already using it on motorcycles: In the event of a fall, protectors inflate and offer additional protection in the event of an accident. The Italians are now adapting this technology for mountain bikes.

The fat years are over - now Dainese has come up with the lightest downhill helmet to date. The "Linea 01" weighs in at just 570 grams and complies with all safety standards.

The Italian protection specialist is re-entering the helmet business with the Linea 01 and 03. Both helmets feature the latest protection technology. The integrated RECCO® system helps rescue workers to find the rider in an emergency. They can then use TwiceMe® NFC technology to retrieve the accident victim's health data stored in the helmet, which saves a significant amount of time in an emergency.
