Since 2002, the manufacturer Topolino has been producing its handmade wheels in the small town of Bethel in the US state of Connecticut. These wheels are characterized by continuous carbon and Kevlar spokes that span the entire diameter of the wheel through the hub. The wheel manufacturers at Easton get this technology on board with a license.

This fundamental question of size arises with the Havoc 35 handlebars from Easton. Its name says it all, because the diameter in the clamping area of the stem is not the usual 31.8 millimetres, but a whopping 35 millimetres. As this clamping width is the only one of its kind, the component specialist is sending matching stems into the race. And on the scales, the voluminous handlebars are not at all overweight.

At 1285 grams, the new "EC90XC" from Easton is one of the lightest Tubless-compatible carbon wheelsets on the market.

The company Bell Sports (Bell and Giro) will be joining forces with Easton in the future. As has just been announced, the two companies have merged to form "Easton Bell Sports". This has no impact on the Swiss market: both Bell and Easton are distributed by Chris Sports Systems in Tagelswangen.
