The new bike collection is ready for the bike spring of 2016. Vaude was named Germany's most sustainable brand in 2015 and scores again this year with numerous environmentally friendly products in Green Shape. The new Moab flat pedal shoe, ultra-lightweight backpacks and functional clothing were presented.

Bike dealers, or to put it more formally, stationary specialist retailers, often complain that doing business is becoming increasingly difficult due to online competition. However, there are manufacturers who are trying to combine the advantages offered by each sales channel.

The new products presented by Vaude all have one thing in common. The products are all produced sustainably, some even from recycled material. In addition to lightweight backpacks, flyweight wind jackets and water-repellent blousons, the new Moab flat pedal shoe is particularly surprising.

Vaude presents short bike pants with Prima-Loft lining. Until now, this material has only been used in jackets and sleeping bags. The "Minaki Shorts" are worn alone or as a second layer over long bike pants.

In Wallisellen, the southern German mountain sports outfitter Vaude has opened its first store abroad in cooperation with the specialist retailer Spatz Camping. Vaude showcases its products on around 220 square meters within Spatz's newly opened 1,400 square meter sales area.

Vaude is ready for the bike winter and presents its first bike shorts made from the lightweight synthetic fiber PrimaLoft® Eco. Combined with stretch inserts made from robust Windproof 80 material, they are designed to keep bikers' legs warm. Vaude is also launching the Minaki Jacket to match.

The German outdoor clothing company Vaude has produced a film that provides an insight into two Chinese textile factories with which the company works. With the film, Vaude wants to show what it looks like in the production facilities, how people work there and the global connections behind it. As a member of the Fair Wear Foundation, Vaude is committed to fair working conditions.

With the new outdoor backpack line "Tracer", Vaude has a new generation of backpacks in its range for the coming model year.

Vaude is strengthening its presence in Switzerland. Last weekend, the German bikewear and bag specialist opened its first shop-in-shop at the Fateba bike store in Winterthur.

Vaude has once again successfully completed the annual re-audit for the EMAS and ISO14001 environmental standards. An independent expert from the German Accreditation and Certification Association for Environmental Auditors audited Vaude's environmental management. The German clothing specialist can continue to use the EMAS logo and is an ISO14001-certified company.

Uvex Switzerland will take over the distribution of the textile and outdoor brand Vaude from the 2006 summer collection. The Baar-based company will be presenting Vaude in its product range for the first time at Bespo and will not be continuing the Descente brand. There was also a change of personnel at Uvex at the end of April: Peter Stolba left the company at the end of April.

With a total of seven models, Vaude is launching a bike shoe collection for mountain bikers, bike travelers and everyday cyclists. Vaude is celebrating the premiere of the new shoes at Eurobike in Friedrichshafen.

In addition to many innovations in its entire mountain sports range, Vaude has completely revised and expanded its mountain bike range. The "All Mountain" line features trendy colors and cuts and includes hooded pullovers and various jackets in addition to shorts and shirts. Gloves and various rucksacks are also available to match the "All Mountain" line.
