A mountain bike freeride trail is to be built between Schwanden and Brienz in the Bernese Oberland. "IG Bergvelo" has submitted a planning application for this and appears to have met with a positive response from the authorities and landowners. If there are no objections by January 28, concrete planning can begin. The route is to ride from Oberschwanden near the Lammbach stream to Brienz and will be 1.5 kilometers long.
