The FIT cartridges on the forks have been redesigned, which should result in even less friction. Seals manufactured exclusively by the Italian bearing experts SKF are used for this purpose. In order to cope with the lower friction and prevent unwanted sagging on steep gradients, Fox increased the compression damping of the Factory forks. The shocks now have a slightly finer "Adaptive Logic" rebound adjustment and a slightly different setting for the Fox "Propedal" bob suppression. If the rider moves the lever on the rear shock to the right, the hardest platform setting (3) now takes effect. In the left lever position, the rider selects between 0 (open), 1 (light) and 2 (mid) using the dial. In addition, the new suspension struts should function optimally after a much shorter break-in time.
